Piosenka Paula McCartneya “Hope For The Future” została wydana w wersji cyfrowej na singlu 8 grudnia, w rocznicę śmierci Johna Lennona. Singiel jest również dostępny od 13 stycznia 2015 r. w tradycyjnej wersji winylowej (12").

Utwór napisany specjalnie na potrzeby gry komputerowej „Destiny” powstał w legendarnym studiu Abbey Road, a za produkcję kawałka odpowiada syn George’a Martina – Giles.

Pisanie na zamówienie, tak jak to było w przypadku „Hope For The Future” jest jak robienie portretu dla kogoś. Musisz użyć swojej wyobraźni, a następnie pomyśleć czego od ciebie się oczekuje i co ty chcesz zaproponować. Potem należy te wszystkie rzeczy połączyć aż myślisz, że uzyskałeś spójność.
